Fee: $40 for professionals and $10 for students

1. Participants will be able to identify local treatment approaches and resources in Central Ohio for individuals with opiate use disorders.

2. Participants will be able to describe both the similarities and differences in opiate use and other substance use disorders.

3. Participants will be able to identify challenges faced by addiction counselors and strategies to address these challenges.

All proceeds support the John S. Riley, II Memorial Scholarship Fund at Columbus State. The fund supports students who have been touched by addiction and desire to work in the Human Services profession.

CSCC reserves the right to change presentation dates if needed.

The Ohio State University, College of Social Work, has approved this training for 3.0 CEU clock hours for Social Workers. They are an approved provider of State of Ohio Counselors, Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists, provider number: RST111002. Target audience: Social Work and MHAD students and Social Workers. Southeast Healthcare Services is an approved provider of the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board for Counselor CEUs, provider number: RCX031202.
