1. Participants will understand the effects of burnout and compassion fatigue.
2. Participants will gain knowledge of the importance of using coping strategies to achieve wellness and to maintain longevity in the field.
3. Participants will practice and learn techniques to enhance self-care, allowing them to bring a healthier and genuine presence in the work they do with clients.
All proceeds support the John S. Riley, II Memorial Scholarship Fund at Columbus State. The fund supports students who have been touched by addiction and desire to work in the human services profession.
